Alexandra Marine and General Hospital has an inpatient unit consisting of 18 inpatient beds, 20 mental health beds, 4 level 2 ICU beds and 2 obstetrics beds. Our interdisciplinary care team provides 24-hour acute, rehabilitation, and complex continuing care to patients (ages 18 and older) who require further treatment for a variety of conditions.
Each patient is seen daily by an assigned physician. Family physicians are notified of a patient’s hospital admission to facilitate information sharing and continuity of care.
