AMGH is seeking qualified registered nurses to support efforts for additional staffing. We are looking for multiple part-time registered nurses to join the Med/Surg/ICU team.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Recent Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia course
- Recent 12-lead Interpretation course
- NIH Stroke Scale/Score (NIHSS) certification
- Code White certification
- Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) medical/surgical-related nursing experience
- Experience in the following skills: chest tubes, arterial lines, central lines, intubation, invasive ventilation, non-invasive mechanical ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP), pain and sedation assessment/intervention.
- Excellent physical head-to-toe assessment skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret normal/abnormal telemetry and cardiac monitoring
- Ability to manage a variety of acute patient conditions
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care
- Good attendance and work record is essential
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, conflict resolution and efficient decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
