Alexandra Marine and General Hospital (AMGH) is currently seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Cardiorespiratory Department, where we specialize in caring for what matters most—your heart and lungs. Temporary - Part Time, Monday to Friday -

About the Cardiorespiratory Department: Our department offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic services, including: -
Ambulatory Blood Pressure & Holter Monitoring -
Arterial Blood Gases -
Cardiac Stress Testing -
Electrocardiograms (ECG) -
Pulmonary Function Testing (Body Box) -
Pulse Oximetry -
General consulting on cardiorespiratory equipment and care You'll play a key role in supporting our patients' respiratory and cardiac health through hands-on procedures, expert analysis, and compassionate care.
Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program - Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
- Member in good standing with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists and/or the Respiratory Therapy Society of Ontario
- Current certification in BCLS, NRP and ACLS
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Maintain an effective working relationship with patients, physicians, hospital staff and the public
- Demonstrate initiative and good judgment in problem solving and identifying opportunities for action
- Excellent verbal, written and facilitative computer skills
- Proven organizational, analytical service orientation
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Professional demeanour
- Ability to prepare correspondence and reports
- Ability to analyze and interpret test results
- Ability to communicate changes to other staff
