Meet Tara Oke
With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector as a registered nurse, Tara has excelled in roles ranging from bedside care to management in the acute care sector. Since 2021, she has been an integral member of the Quality Assurance Committee. Tara has served as the Director of Primary Care and Chronic Disease at the Grand Bend Area Community Health Centre, contributing significantly to community and organizational development.
Tara's extensive experience includes her time at London Health Sciences Centre as the Coordinator for CSTAR, where she achieved successful accreditation with the American College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Her current role as an accreditation reviewer for the Canadian Centre for Accreditation showcases her continued commitment to quality improvement.
In addition to her professional achievements, Tara is actively involved with the local Ontario Health Team, participating in committees related to heart failure and cardiac rehabilitation. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family and friends.
