It’s Infection Control Week! At Huron Health System, we’re proud to recognize Amber, our dedicated Infection Prevention and Control and Patient Flow lead. Amber supports both hospitals, guiding our efforts every day with her expertise and leadership.
Keeping our hospitals safe is truly a team effort across all departments. From vigilant monitoring and thorough cleaning protocols to staff training and careful patient flow management, our teams work together to make sure our hospitals remain safe spaces for patients, families, and staff.
With cold and flu season here, our teams are leading by example by getting their flu vaccinations to protect themselves and those around them. You can join us in keeping our communities safe by washing your hands regularly, covering coughs and sneezes, staying home when you’re feeling unwell, and getting vaccinated.
We’re so grateful to Amber and all the staff across both hospitals for their commitment to infection prevention and for keeping our communities safe and healthy every day.
