- Completion of “Best Practices for Environmental
Cleaning in Healthcare” training an asset
- Education and understanding of Infection
Control and Hand Hygiene required
- Excellent knowledge of WHIMS and Material
safety Data Sheets
- Must possess an Ontario Secondary School
Diploma (Grade 12)
Experience: - Minimum
six months’ housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting within the last
three years.
- Excellent
knowledge of infection control practices and safe handling of chemicals is required.
- Flexible,
self-directed and organized
- Good
attendance and work record is essential
- Must
be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills.
- Must
be able to work all shifts
- Must
be physically able to perform repetitive tasks on a continual basis, able to
walk and stand
for long period of time as well as the ability to push, pull, lift and move
moderately heavy
objects
