Medical Acts: Defibrillation, External Pacing, and Medical Directives for the
administration of Life Saving Drugs and I.V. Initiation
- Cardiac
Arrhythmia and ECG Interpretation and Monitoring

White certification
- Minimum
of 2 (two) years of recent emergency nursing experience
- Experience
in the management of patient’s requiring the following: Epidural Catheter, Chest Tube, Central Line,
Mechanical Ventilation, and Pain and Sedation assessment and intervention
- Well-developed
patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation skills
- Computer
literacy and Meditech knowledge and experience
- Ability to organize related activities;
to remain flexible; and adapt to crisis situations and rapid change
- Ability to manage a variety of patient
conditions
- Sound critical thinking, problem
solving, conflict resolution and timely decision making skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary
team to provide optimal patient care
- Strong interpersonal, critical
thinking and verbal and written communication skills, and organizational skills
- Self-directed, motivated team player
with a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
- Ability to work rotating shifts and
extended or innovative shifts as assigned
- Consistently meets attendance expectations,
